Recognizing bamboo’s vital role in carbon sequestration and sustainable development, the Bamboo Society of India (BSI) continues to receive corporate support for new projects. Vayhan Coffee Limited has already contributed partial funding for upcoming initiatives.

Proposed CSR projects include:

1. A Bambusetum & Biodiversity Park in Nada Prabhu Kempe Gowda Residential Layout, Bengaluru, in partnership with the Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA), aimed at enhancing local biodiversity and reducing carbon emissions.
2. A Bambusetum in Shivaram Karanth Residential Layout, Bengaluru, developed with BDA.
3. A Bambusetum in Kadugodi Reserve Forest, recently acquired by the Karnataka Forest Department.
4. Bamboo groves along the corridors of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to green urban transit spaces.

These projects align with BSI’s mission to promote ecological sustainability through bamboo cultivation and green infrastructure.
