It was truly an honor to visit Aravali Power Company Private Ltd. (APCPL), a joint venture of NTPC Limited, HPGCL, and IPGCL, along with Shri Mukesh Gulati, Executive Director, Foundation for MSME Clusters (FMC), New Delhi, and Mr. Amit Pande, CGM, FMC.

During our visit to APCPL's coal-based thermal power plant in Jharli, Jhajjar, Haryana, we were impressed to learn that they have achieved the highest biomass blending ratio in the country, currently burning an impressive 500 tons of biomass per day. Our discussions with *Mr. M V R Reddy, Chief Executive Officer of APCPL,* lasted over 45 minutes, where we delved into the challenges they face in effectively burning biomass blended with coal.

Additionally, we had the opportunity to engage in a detailed conversation with Mr. Amit Kumar Gautam, GM of Fuel Management, and his technical team regarding the feasibility of using bamboo pieces instead of biomass pellets.
